This week July 11-17  2011 Port Douglas' famous  Four Mile Beach was full of people enjoying the beach . There were so many beach goers sitting under beach umbrellas,lying on beach towels and swimming. 

The weather was a perfect 25/26 degrees sunny with light winds on some days .

Kelvin Brown from Port Douglas Watersports was doing a roaring business , According to Kelvin the best for any July -he can remember hiring beach lounges. umbrellas , kayaks and other beachkit- sometimes selling out by 11am!

We declare the Australian 2011-2012 beach season is now underway
